Our Busy 2017 Summer with Candidates and Friends!
2017 Christmas Benefit Luncheon
Eighty guests joined us December 3rd for our 75th Anniversary Bash, featuring guest speaker Congressman Peter Roskam and President's Award recipient, Pat Kammerer.
“Pat” Kammerer, past President of the Women’s Republican Club (2006-2008) has been a GOP stalwart for decades. Not only did Pat raise seven children with her late husband, John, a successful business executive who saw service in the U.S. Army under General Douglas MacArthur in Japan, she has consistently and continuously worked “in the trenches” for the GOP. Pat has served as precinct committeeman and captain. She heeded the call to be a poll watcher for Gov. Scott Walker in a hotly contested recall election in Wisconsin, leaving her station only when her safety was threatened and local police informed her they could not guarantee her personal safety. Pat has offered constant inspiration and bonhomie and has always been available to lend her support, advice, encouragement and love to WRC officers. She is the embodiment of the GOP woman: a lover of faith, family, country and hard work, all accomplished with beauty, grace and style. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, PAT! GOD BLESS YOU!

New Slate of Officers Elected at 2016 Annual Meeting!
On January 9, 2016, WRC members elected a new slate of officers. Read about them here. Outgoing President Jennifer Neubauer thanked her officers and board for their constant support and dedication over the past two years. She also recognized former WRC Presidents and thanked them for their contribution and past leadership, noting that she had felt like a "midget standing on the shoulders of giants" while at the helm of the now 75-year old WRC. Following the brief members' meeting, speaker Michael J. Lotus offered fascinating insight on his and James C. Bennett's book: America 3.0, Rebooting American Prosperity in the 21st Century—Why America’s Greatest Days Are Yet to Come (Encounter Books, 2013). Read about the event here.
